The Masters in Law and Conflict Management will have a solid education, which adds expertise to act as a professional of excellence, capable of producing knowledge in the area, using appropriate scientific methodological instruments in different theoretical and practical contexts, and mainly, of acting in a preventive manner beyond litigation, which is already traditional in law.

The master`s degree presents a centrality, a humanistic, civic, and ethical education, whose professional practices are based on the pedagogical strategies of the continuous, autonomous, and permanent training process.

At the end of the course, the graduate must:

  • Be able to produce knowledge in concentration and lines of research of the course, using appropriate methodological instruments;
  • Develop critical-reflective capacity, in the analysis of realities and studies, ability to search for and interpret studies/texts and scientific writing;
  • Propose and implement interventions in the different theoretical and practical contexts of Law, more specifically issues related to the judiciary and conflict management and those related to Dejudicialization and conflict resolution models.

It is expected that graduates incorporate methodologies that qualify them to intervene in social processes, plan, formulate and advise on the implementation of public policies, as well as to be able to act in the coordination of sectors of Public, Private and Third Sector Management, redirecting choices and strategies.

In addition, the courses developed by students during the 24 months of the master`s degree enable them to practice teaching and management in higher education, as well as progress in careers in the judiciary.
